The Story Behind the Firm
Lauren Kesler graduated from Rutgers Universtiy and went on to attend Brooklyn Law School in 2004 and began her legal career with a prestigious clerkship under the Honorable Bruce A. Gaeta J.S.C., Bergen County, Special Civil Part, Landlord Tenant Division. This experience provided invaluable insight into how courts operate and how judges think—knowledge that directly benefits our clients today.
After completing her clerkship, Lauren focused exclusively on real estate and property law. She founded Kesler Law in 2009 to give property owners a dedicated, responsive, and results-focused legal partner who understands their unique challenges and goals.
Over the years, she has handled hundreds of lease negotiations, property transactions, and landlord–tenant disputes. Her experience ranges from representing small residential landlords to managing complex commercial lease negotiations for larger ownership groups. Lauren has developed particular expertise in New Jersey security deposit law and rent control regulations, helping property owners navigate these complex areas while maximizing their rental income potential.
